Senate Bill 1666 was filed to revise the Department of Business and Professional Regulation's boards and programs, but died in committee on 2026-03-13.

The bill proposed to revise the list of boards and programs under the Division of Professions, designate that division to oversee yacht and ship brokers, delete a criminal record review requirement for cosmetology applicants, rename the Certified Public Accountant Education Minority Assistance Advisory Council, and revise Construction Industry Licensing Board quorum requirements. The bill did not advance beyond the Regulated Industries Committee.
