Governor DeSantis signed HB 1203 into law on June 3, 2024, imposing new continuing education requirements for community association managers.

Community association managers providing services to homeowners' associations must complete at least 5 hours of continuing education biennially, with 3 hours specifically focused on recordkeeping. Rule 61E14-4.001, Florida Administrative Code, was amended effective November 18, 2024, to reflect these requirements. Licensees exempt under section 455.2124, Florida Statutes (SB 382), are exempt from these new continuing education requirements.

Community association managers licensed by the Department of Business and Professional Regulation who provide management services to homeowners' associations.

Effective November 18, 2024.
