The Department of Business and Professional Regulation (DBPR) published information describing its complaint processes and investigative authority over condominium associations and community association managers.
The DBPR Compliance team investigates complaints concerning financial issues, elections, record access, structural integrity reserve study completion, and unlawful board member conduct in condominiums, and may impose penalties for statutory violations. The Division of Regulation investigates complaints against DBPR-licensed community association managers. Complaints may be filed at DBPR locations, by mail, or online.
