CTMH Services — Election Monitoring

DBPR's Election Monitor Program, administered by the Office of the Ombudsman, provides a service enabling condominium residents and board members to request appointment of an election monitor for annual meetings.

The program permits petitions for election monitor appointment when signed by the greater of fifteen percent of total voting interests or six unit owners. An appointed election monitor attends the annual meeting of unit owners and conducts the election of directors to help ensure a fair and transparent election process.

Condominium associations and their unit owners.

The program is currently available; no effective date change is indicated.
