CTMH Services — Ombudsman’s Office
The Department of Business and Professional Regulation (DBPR) operates an Office of the Condominium Ombudsman that provides dispute resolution services and educational resources to condominium unit owners and board members.
Section 718.5012, Florida Statutes establishes the powers and duties of the Ombudsman. The Ombudsman serves as a neutral liaison to resolve disputes, promote education and fair practices, improve understanding of condominium laws and procedures, assist with concerns related to board operations and elections, oversee the Election Monitor Program, and facilitate dialogue among owners, boards, and management. Unit owners and board members may schedule online appointments or attend mobile office hours in various locations statewide.
