H0799 — Special Alcoholic Beverage Licenses Issued to Residential Condominiums
House Bill 799, filed February 20, 2025, proposed to exclude certain residential condominiums that sell alcoholic beverages from state licensing limits and to impose restrictions on alcoholic beverage sales by condominium food and beverage operators.
The bill would have exempted specified residential condominiums from numerical limits on certain alcoholic beverage licenses, required such licenses to be issued only to persons or corporations managing food and beverage operations, prohibited licensees from selling certain alcoholic beverages for off-premises consumption, and prohibited sales of alcoholic beverages after the time for food service or consumption has elapsed.
