H1541 — Use of Audioconferencing by Community Associations

The bill would have defined 'audio conference' and revised statutory requirements for condominium associations, residential cooperative associations, and homeowners' associations to permit meetings and elections conducted via audioconferencing in addition to or in place of videoconferencing. The bill would have also required condominium associations to maintain audio conference recordings as official records and modified emergency powers provisions to include audioconferencing authority for all three association types.
