S0802 — Condominium Windstorm Pilot Program

Senate Bill 802 proposed the establishment of a Condominium Windstorm Pilot Program by the Office of Insurance Regulation but died in the Banking and Insurance committee.

The bill would have required the Office of Insurance Regulation to establish a pilot program for condominium associations. Participation in the pilot program would have required a majority vote of the total voting interests of a condominium association. The bill specified an expiration date for the pilot program and a date on which associations could begin participating.
