The bill requires landlords of residential real property to disclose specified flood information to prospective tenants at or before rental agreement execution. Condominium developers must provide specified flood information to prospective purchasers at or before sales contract execution. Mobile home park owners must provide specified flood information to prospective lessees at or before rental agreement execution. If a landlord fails to disclose flood information truthfully and a tenant suffers substantial loss or damage, the tenant may terminate the rental agreement by written notice and surrender of possession within a specified timeframe.
