S1314 — Food Allergy Education

Senate Bill 1314 was filed to require food allergy education and disclosure in public food service establishments but died in the Regulated Industries Committee on March 8, 2024.

The bill would have required the Division of Hotels and Restaurants to develop a food allergy course for food service managers and mandated public food service establishments to post notices addressing allergic reactions and assistance measures. The bill did not advance beyond committee review.
