S1748 — Alcohol Consumption

Senate Bill 1748 died in the Regulated Industries Committee on June 16, 2025, without passage.

The bill proposed to require the Division of Alcoholic Beverages and Tobacco to consider a vendor's use of electronic identification scanners as mitigation in administrative penalty proceedings. It also proposed to require state and local law enforcement agencies to refer investigations and arrests involving drivers under the influence of alcohol whose crashes caused serious bodily injury or death to the division.
